Ford Richardson opened its doors as a full-service law firm in May 2018.
It has been a fantastic year and a half of growth in talent, offices, clients and experiences.
We could not have done it alone and have tremendous gratitude for our trusted clients
and the Ford Richardson family.
GROWTH
Ford Richardson expands!
We initially opened with 3 locations – Richmond, Northern Virginia and Southwest Virginia.
In 2019, we began construction on our 4th office in Hampton Roads, anticipated to open in February 2020.
EVENTS
Ford Richardson Open House
Held on February 26, 2019 our Open House was a wonderful event attended by clients, family and friends
as well as Richmond Mayor, Levar Stoney.
The Ford Richardson Annual Workers’ Compensation Seminar
Held on September 18, 2019 at the Westin Hotel in Richmond, our Annual Workers’ Compensation Seminar
was an enormous success with over 250 attendees.
Our speakers covered the latest updates, trends and hotly contested legal issues throughout the day.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Humor, aka Dr. Stuart Robertshaw, delighted us with a discussion on the
“Healing Power of Humor.”

GIVING BACK
We are privileged to give back to our community and believe it is our responsibility to do so.
Our attorneys and support staff serve as leaders and volunteers to a wide array of civic and charitable organizations.
The Firm has a long history partnering with Kids’ Chance Virginia.
Ford Richardson partner, Scott Ford, serves on the board.
In August, Ford Richardson teamed up with two local firms to provide dinner for about 200 people at CARITAS, also called The Healing Place. CARITAS helps men (and women starting in 2020) break the cycles of homelessness and addiction.
In December, the Richmond office participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program.
We had the pleasure of providing gifts to three siblings this holiday season – two girls and a boy.
