Dr. Shepherd is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at Yale School of Medicine. He recently returned to Yale after 9 years overseas. His recent history includes advising the Government of India on Tuberculosis control, directing a research program in TB and HIV for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Botswana, and assisting the University of Maryland start a large AIDS treatment program in Nigeria. He is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and a Fellowship in Infectious Disease at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Scott Ford is co-founder of Ford Richardson. He has over 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer with particular expertise in workers’ compensation and general liability. He is former Chair of the Litigation Section for the Virginia State Bar. He earned his undergraduate degree from James Madison University (magna cum laude) and his Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee (cum laude).

Brian Richardson is co-founder of Ford Richardson. Brian has been in practice for nearly 20 years. He has significant trial experience defending companies in shareholder disputes, employment law cases and workers’ compensation claims and automotive manufacturers in products liability and breach of warranty cases. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University.
